自我認識的開始

有一個下午，只是坐在那裡，無論什麼時候，你有時間或空閒時，看著它，看著一朵花，看著你自己，看著你所有思想的活動，和你的感覺，你的反應，只是觀察而沒有任何選擇，那是自我認識的開始。沒有自我認識，人將陷於困惑和痛苦。

Just to sit of an afternoon, whenever you have time and leisure to look at it. To look at a flower, look at yourself, to look at all  the movement of your thought, and your feelings and all your reactions. Just to observe without any choice, which is the beginning of self-knowing. And without self-knowing, man is caught everlastingly in confusing and misery.
